About
I am a Leeds, UK based artist who works across a multitude of mediums, focusing on large scale abstract paintings. I focus on depth of colour, texture and ambience to create emotive pieces. I love creating work that makes people think and use their imagination to see how the work relates to them on a personal level. I have been lucky enough to have 4 solo exhibitions, as well as participate in a multitude of virtual and group exhibitions across the North and London. I usually use a combination of acrylic paint, sand and mixed mediums to create beautiful textures and cracking effects which is prevalent throughout my work. imperfection, emotion and balance are the main themes of my work. I usually practice through layering, I will paint a piece to completion, and then paint another on top of that, and so on, until I feel the piece has fully matured in to an evolved version of itself. I love jobs that focus on collaboration and creating something unique to the client. I can work from a brief or solely off a basic idea, adjusting to clients needs I also enjoy community based projects that involve giving back to the community.

Any jobs that I know aren't my style. I would rather be honest with you and recommend another artist that would be more suited. For example,   being asked to paint cartoon characters for murals.
