She was a true professional. Detail oriented, and just a joy to work with. I will undoubtedly be working with her again . She drew up a tattoo for me and will be my first choice for all future work.

Easy to work with. Accommodating. While earlier versions were falling a bit short of the original, she nonetheless restarted and recreated the desired sketch with incredible improvements. In the end, it came pretty close to the original, bringing life to an important Christmas present.

About
“Love Always Leaves a Memory” — Portraits by Aaliyah Morales My passion for art began at a very young age — possibly as early as five — inspired by my mother, a talented nail technician who also drew and painted. I first picked up a paintbrush after secretly borrowing hers, that small moment sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since. Throughout my education, I continuously pursued art. In elementary school, my teacher recognized my potential and encouraged me to grow, which led me to enroll in art classes during middle school. As I progressed into high school, my skills and understanding of art deepened. In 9th grade, I began exploring portraiture and landscapes — subjects that were new to me at the time. Although I briefly stepped away from art in 10th grade, I returned in 11th and 12th grade, taking advanced art courses that challenged and inspired me. One of my greatest influences was my high school art teacher, who introduced me to new techniques, artistic styles, and iconic artists such as Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet. Her mentorship continues to impact me, and I still reach out to her for guidance and to share my accomplishments. During this time, I had the opportunity to enter the 48th Annual Teenage Competitive Art Exhibition, where one of my pieces earned second place in the painting category. That project led me to develop some of my most personal and meaningful pieces. Four years later, I discovered that the same artwork had been featured on a poster outside the Community Folk Art Center — a proud and emotional moment. That moment reminded me that our work has a life of its own. It can quietly touch people in ways we may never fully realize. Since then, I’ve been honored to create commissioned artwork for clients across the United States. My specialty has become portraiture — especially of loved ones who have passed or pets who were deeply cherished. These deeply personal commissions allow me to form a unique emotional connection to the subject. When clients share stories about their loved ones or the significance of a location— the memories, the personalities, the love—I feel like I’m being given a glimpse into something sacred, as if I know the person or the pet I’m painting. While creating, I often feel transported, as if I’m capturing not just a likeness, but a memory and a legacy. I don’t consider myself the greatest artist, but I am deeply committed. I approach every piece with humility, curiosity, and heart. Even if it’s something I’ve never done before, I welcome the challenge. Art has been part of my life for 18 years, and every portrait I create is shaped by that lifelong journey. One sentiment that has always stayed with me is this: “Love always leaves a memory.” That phrase is now the title of my current series — a tribute to the lasting presence of those we hold dear, whether they are still with us or have crossed over. Through my art, I aim to preserve those memories and the love behind them, helping people celebrate the lives and stories that have touched them. which honors those we’ve lost and the love that continues beyond their presence. I believe that through art, we can hold onto those memories—beautiful, powerful, and lasting.
