Lost in thought
The original to this piece looks nothing like the outcome of the remake, but I love that about it. At this time in my life I was in my head a lot about everything, even things that shouldn’t have me in a constant dream-like state. I felt like I had to put my feelings in paper, overtime I’ve realized I grew up a lot in that time frame. I’m happy with who I am now, those leaves shed away and the new would rise.
Meet the Artist
Syracuse, United StatesI grew up drawing, it helped me to express my emotions on paper. My family is full of different kinds of artists, from fine art to musicians and writers. I pretty much learned everything I knew on my own and a little bit in school k-12. I would have never picked up a paint brush if it weren’t for my mother she was a very talented artist and nail tech and I borrowed a paint brush and paint from her, here I am now.. I specialize in portraits and fantasy pieces, the medium I work best with is colored pencils. I also use, charcoal, pastels, acrylic paint and occasionally oils. I’m a quick learner and pretty much can make anything I set my mind to and work with mediums I never had before! I’d be happy to be of service!
