Just prior to meeting Thom and Blake both experienced life altering scares. One with substance abuse and the other with recently diagnosed epilepsy. This forced them to take their passion for art seriously. With a newfound focus and clarity, the bad boys use their lighthearted view of heavyhearted subject to make approachable art for those who enjoy the modern comic book revival but also want a deeper message in the art they consume.
