About
My name is Jahangir Amin , I started painting from the early age and the passion for painting was always with me. Even though finding materials for a simple sketch in my town was as hard as looking for a needle in haystack but I did not stop. I started my professional learning in Austria Vienna Fine Art academy , and held many exhibitions over past 15 years (list below). The main subject of my paintings was always about women, especially Afghan women, and their situations. I wanted to be their voice for the world and show their pain. 2004 – International Refugee Day, Vienna 2004 – Poland 2005 – Vienna 2006 – International Refugee Day, Vienna 2006 – Vienna (Commercial) 2006 – Women in the World, Vienna 2007 – Vienna (Commercial) 2010 – On the Way to Live, Vienna 2013 – Die Farbe der Stimme, Wohnzimmergalerie SIX Seewalchen, Austria 2013 – Journey to the Depth of Colour, Vienna 2014 – International Refugee Day, Vienna 2015 – Vienna (Commercial) 2021 - Online Exhibition , Inclusive Arts Fest 2021 ( Canada ) 2022 - Grope exhibition in SA university ( ARA) 2022- August - 12 September Solo Exhibition in Salisbury Hub Now I'm living in Adelaide Australia
