Meet the Artist
Adelaide, AustraliaMy name is Jahangir Amin , I started painting from the early age and the passion for painting was always with me. Even though finding materials for a simple sketch in my town was as hard as looking for a needle in haystack but I did not stop.
I started my professional learning in Austria Vienna Fine Art academy , and held many exhibitions over past 15 years (list below). The main subject of my paintings was always about women, especially Afghan women, and their situations. I wanted to be their voice for the world and show their pain.
