About
Abi and Roz, who work together on every piece to create florals, landscapes, illustrations and abstract paintings. We are passionate about colour and how powerful it can be to lift your mood and build a happy environment. We met while both working at a textile design studio in New York. After returning to the UK and having families, we created Tipperleyhill so that we could see work along side each other again. Abi is right handed and Roz is left handed, so on large canvases, murals and windows we paint simultaneously together. Abi’s strengths are in drafting, illustration and composition and Roz loves mark making, colour blocking and freestyle painting. The fun they have in their friendship and the joy they have in painting together infuses their vibrant and textural work.

If you love the idea of having a go at painting flowers, this in-person workshop is for you. You can be a beginner with an open mind or an artist wanting new inspiration. Artists Roz and Abi of Tipperleyhill will take you step-by-step using mark making techniques in mixed-media to create your own painting on canvas, ready to hang when you get home Treat yourself to time to create, relax and unwind (or give this workshop to someone special).

If you love the idea of having a go at painting seascapes, this in-person workshop is for you. You can be a beginner with an open mind or an artist wanting new inspiration. Artists Roz and Abi of Tipperleyhill will take you step-by-step using mark making techniques in mixed-media to create your own painting on canvas, ready to hang when you get home Treat yourself to time to create, relax and unwind in the gorgeous cocktail bar (or give this workshop to someone special). All materials provided including: a 12” x 12” canvas each, paints, brushes, inks and oil pastels Cake, tea/coffee or and a glass of bubbles included Come willing to experiment and have fun. Bring an apron and wear old clothes. We will be getting messy!
