About
I am London-born artist inspired primarily by myth and fairy tales. I love to work with bold, bright colours, giant figures and fantasy animals. My aim is to inspire, empower and bring joy to the world through my creations. I always knew I wanted to be an artist and I love working with others to help them bring their visions to life. I studied Fine Art at Newcastle University, and since then my practice has taken me all over the world for workshops and exhibitions. I regularly brush up my skills with short courses from renowned teachers. In 2017 I won the North East Sunshine Award for painting and in 2019 I was awarded a travel scholarship from Newcastle University. I have featured in 2 documentaries and had my first solo show in September 2022. My favourite medium is painting - especially large scale, so murals are a favourite of mine, but I also work with drawing and sculpture. One of my favourite pieces was a 'household god' I created for a family's home shrine.
