My name is Chris, a British artist who has been living in Thailand for the past eight years. With nearly 40 years of experience under my belt, I have honed a wide range of creative skills in painting. Although I graduated from the University of the Arts in Norwich in 2016, later in my life than expected, the program provided valuable insights into the art world. My versatility allows me to create photo-realistic artwork, primarily focusing on animals such as birds, dogs, and wildlife, including reptiles and exotic flowers. I also enjoy exploring abstract art using various mediums like oils, acrylics, watercolors, pencils, pastel pencils, and even airbrushing, and sometimes digital art animal portrits, and pencil sketching. You can find examples of my diverse work on several of my Instagram accounts, which showcase my ability to seamlessly transition from hyper-realistic pieces to more whimsical, humorous folk art paintings. I take pride in my flexibility and adaptability, always striving to bring my clients' visions to life. As a friendly and open-minded artist, I welcome inquiries and am happy to discuss potential projects. If a request falls outside my expertise or proves too complex, I will be upfront about my limitations. However, I encourage you to reach out, as I'm eager to collaborate and create stunning, personalized artwork tailored to your preferences.

"I have a varied history of exhibitions,   with most occurring in the distant past. While I have had exhibitions in the UK with a different type of artwork,   I gave up pursuing gallery representation long ago due to disillusionment with that model. I have since honed my skills and developed many different art styles,   preferring not to be restricted by galleries.
I had one recent exhibition in Bangkok about three years ago,   organized through a friend of a friend. However,   the artwork exhibited there was very different from my current work." However I love painting pets and wildlife of any kind now. Especially in my own watercolor method.
