Meet the Artist
Bristol, United KingdomAlexandra is a Bristol-based mixed media artist and illustrator originally from the North-East of England. Working across acrylic, watercolour, collage and oil pastel, her practice includes expressive abstract paintings, hand-drawn techniques and contemporary digital processes to create artwork that feels both personal and immersive.
Known for her abstract aesthetic and fluid use of colour, Alex’s creative process always begins by hand - through sketching, painting and mark-making - before evolving into finished analogue or digital works. Her portfolio spans live event illustration, brand collaborations, fine art commissions, workshops and large-scale paintings, with previous clients including Adidas, TikTok, Remington, Lanvin and The Macallan, to name a few.
Alongside her studio practice, Alex is recognised for her live painting and guest portrait experiences at weddings, luxury events and private celebrations, where she creates bespoke watercolour illustrations in real time or abstract works on paper/canvas. Her work is rooted in connection, storytelling and creating memorable experiences through art.
Sustainability also plays an important role within her practice, with a conscious focus on minimising waste by recycling materials, eco-friendly packaging and charitable giving through tree-planting initiatives linked to every artwork sale and commission.
Alex loves to travel and is happy to work across the UK and internationally for painting opportunities. Previously, she has painted live at weddings in Amsterdam and Italy, and hosted workshops across London. Please contact Alex with any enquiries.
