Abstract Flowers on Dark Background - Illustration
This is an abstract, botanical illustration which was created using recycled magazine paper, fine liner, oil pastel and watercolour then digitally finished on Photoshop including adding the dark background.
It was hand painted directly from observation. This was part of a personal collection.
Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomHello, my name is Alex.
I am an artist and illustrator originally from the North-East of the UK, now based in East London. Previous clients include: Adidas, Remington, The Macallan, Cult Furniture, Club L London, plus more.
I predominantly work across mixed media: acrylic, watercolour, collage and oil pastel. My process always starts with hand-drawn sketches and paintings, which then go on to form the outcome whether analogue or digital. I prefer to work with an abstract style on paper or canvas, which can then be transformed into digital if required.
I offer art commissions, curated workshops, event painting and live guest portraits for weddings/events.
I love the variety of work that comes through this platform and being able to collaborate with so many different people and brands on projects. I am always open to travelling for destination events.
For every artwork sale and private commission, I plant a tree with Non-Profit organization One Tree Planted.
