The Memory of Water by Love Hannington in London
The Memory of Water
According to the field of Quantum Biology, Water remembers when it makes it's way through pipes at a right angle- ultimately this unnatural movement 'traumatises' the water. Water throughout various cosmologies holds onto memory and emotion. This abstract piece alludes to this through texture and movement.

Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomI am a London-based artist and I am deeply inspired by nature and the divine feminine. I have painted all of my life but decided to dive deeply into my passions in 2017.
I create vibrant art that makes romantic references to water and flora, all wrapped up with royal golds, the female form and exciting Afro-Psychedelic prints. It is truly eclectic, colourful and rich and reminds the viewer to live life in the most exciting way possible.
It is my understanding that art is one of the most important skills we have in documenting the breadth of the human experience. Each of us has a million stories to tell, and we all have our own most favoured ways of telling them- Painting is mine.
My stories combine both the seen and unseen worlds, and I dedicate my craft to documenting where those two realms meet. The natural world we see with the naked eye has an unknown story eager to be brought to the surface. The Animism that once resided on the British Isles and across the globe is the key to these stories and a beautiful, untapped bridge between cultures.
My art has been featured on The Big Breakfast (ITV/ Channel 4), and at London's heart Trafalgar Square as a part of "The World Reimagined" Art trail as well as in Exhibitions and Galleries across the UK.
