Do you feel the force? Because this mural of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader depicts the moment of turmoil between sworn enemies who have yet to determine their familial ties. The simplicity of the figures and their colored fog that follows was to emphasize emotion and isolate the figures in time. Neon and lighting effects became the focus for this piece, allowing the representation of their moral origin to be announced.

Dallas, United StatesWren Martin is an artist local to the Dallas Fort Worth Area. She has a passion for the cities around her and creating a beautiful community from the inside. "I would like to partner with you to make a beautiful city on the outside!"
Wren has a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of North Texas, has been an Educator in the Texas School system, taught in art studios local to Denton and has various murals around the metroplex.
“My overall vision has been to connect themes of street art with traditional views of fine art. Combining a modern inspiration from the environment around me with a technical skill is a contrast that expresses my ideals. Neon signs and bold graffiti tags have the purpose of grabbing the attention of consumers and informing. A painted still life represents an object stuck in time through a technique-heavy practice."
