Dallas Stars Neon and Names
In a residential condo of the W Hotel in Downtown Dallas, nestled next to its very own American Airlines, this Dallas Stars mural comes to life. Given the names of the players and creative font freedom, an array of graffiti and neon effect begin layering the wall. Letting creativity flow was the way to creating fonts that the client deemed to "fit the personality of the players". Painted with interior latex wall paint, the fan favorite stars assembled. To tie the piece together, a Dallas Stars logo centered as a focal paint was executed using layers of spray paint to initiate a generous green glow.

Dallas, United StatesWren Martin is an artist local to the Dallas Fort Worth Area. She has a passion for the cities around her and creating a beautiful community from the inside. "I would like to partner with you to make a beautiful city on the outside!"
Wren has a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of North Texas, has been an Educator in the Texas School system, taught in art studios local to Denton and has various murals around the metroplex.
“My overall vision has been to connect themes of street art with traditional views of fine art. Combining a modern inspiration from the environment around me with a technical skill is a contrast that expresses my ideals. Neon signs and bold graffiti tags have the purpose of grabbing the attention of consumers and informing. A painted still life represents an object stuck in time through a technique-heavy practice."
