This was taken from an art class in Berkeley, CA. I painted them painting the Discus player. And they were all interrupting it as self portraits. It's a triptych. In the two side panels the statues are coming out of the canvas.
Meet the Artist
Barcelona, SpainMy art has been collected internationally.
I've worked as an artist-in-residence in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sarajevo and Bosnia and was an advisor to the J. Paul Getty Museum and Science Center and headed their Arts & Science Development Program.
I have received various international and national fellowships for art and environmental research projects. My work has been displayed in over 100 galleries and shows and I was represented by the Los Angles Museum of Modern Arts Sales & Rental Gallery
Among my fellowships are two International Tides Painting Fellowships and two Earthwatch Fellowships. I was recipient of the Bermuda Artists in Resident masterworks in 2015. Iserved as Science and Art Coordinator with the Global Children’s Organization (GCO), working in a Bosnian summer camp for war orphans.
My landmark mural, A Meeting of the Minds (121’ x 33’) can be seen on Mercado La Paloma in Los Angeles.
I have painted murals in Spain, Italy, Mexico and California.
