San Agustin del Siete
This was one of the first murals I painted, located in Siete de Agosto, a popular neighborhood in Bogotá. It features a San Agustin sculpture-inspired character. It was painted using a mix of acrylic and spray paint. The mural is about 2,5 meters wide by 3 meters tall and it took me about a day to complete.
Meet the Artist
New York, United StatesI’m a Colombian artist based in Brooklyn, New York. I studied an animation career so I’m comfortable with its several processes, from sketching, storyboarding, cinematography, all the way to illustrating, art directing, painting and animating, however for a few years now I’ve fallen in love with painting murals. I think it’s an amazing way to display art and make it available for a broader audience.
