This percussion instrument is used in healing spiritual ceremonies in Colombia. It's inspired by Colombia's flora and fauna, it's bright colors, contrasts and natural richness. It was painted using acrylic paint on all sides of the wooden box.

Meet the Artist
New York, United StatesI’m a Colombian artist based in Brooklyn, New York. I studied an animation career so I’m comfortable with its several processes, from sketching, storyboarding, cinematography, all the way to illustrating, art directing, painting and animating, however for a few years now I’ve fallen in love with painting murals. I think it’s an amazing way to display art and make it available for a broader audience.
