Rogue Theatre The Mermaid scene
After sketching outdoor theatre troupe Rogue Theatre as the Roaming Sketch Artits for Wilderness Festival, the troupe gave me an open invitation to sketch their shows in Cornwall. This amusing scene, drawn on site in Wolff's carbon and chalk on grey A3 paper, features the actors costumed as singing mermaids seated on barstools, with the rapt audience visible in the foreground.

Using my artistic skills to help people express themselves is what I find rewarding. If you can put it into words, I can paint the picture - or the portrait. Or design the illustration you need for your project, or inspire an audience by sketching a performance live before their eyes, or fill your window with a temporary whitewash that doubles as art.
