This mural was created as a tribute to August Wilson for display in the Sidewall Project, which is a rotating outdoor installation museum. The composition includes Wilson, his childhood home and ships since they are a central symbol for the playwright. Ships also symbolize movement and progression, which is another idea of cultural importance. The script in the background is from his play "Fences", one of his best-known works.

Pittsburgh, United StatesI am a visual artist who has a wide array of experience creating public/street art, art on walls and sculpture. I also have an extensive design background. My motto is that Art is Everywhere. I am interested in working in different cities and am willing to travel. Please note that most of my past work has been in public art and commercial commissions, but I'm interested in branching out to do more projects that are not strictly public art and history/community themes, so please don't be afraid to share an unusual project idea. I am open to all ideas but would love to get more street art/graffiti-style commission work.
