Old Ice cream
This is a chalk/blackboard for an ice cream parlour, van or shop.
I attempted to create an aged weathered looking board for this project.
To create this effect I used texture.
The finished result seems to have work very well, maybe a little too well, now the board looks as if its a few years old.
I used an old board, school chalk and a pastel pencil
board size is large, 89cm wide and 118.5cm height

Southampton, United KingdomI am an experienced pencil portrait artist, i specialise in drawing ordinary people. My usual subjects are family members, loved ones, friends, old wedding photos, animals and pet cats and dogs. Once I even drew a goldfish.
My basic mantra is to do the basics well and let the drawing emerge.
