This was a mural I created as part of E17 Art trail. I approached the council about a wall I had seen and they were happy for me to create and original mural for the space. It was supposed to be there for 4 weeks but they liked it so much it stayed for 4 years.

England, United KingdomI am an artist based in Walthamstow specialising in Murals. My work is lively and bright and focuses on pattern and colour. I like to transform spaces by covering them in hand painted pattern, mimicking wallpaper. I create my own patterns sometimes from life and sometimes taking inspiration from patterns I see in the background of paintings by artists such as Hockney, Bonnard and Matisse.
