Milk Teeth - dress and headpiece
This dress and headpiece was made to abstractly depict a poem I wrote called Milk Teeth. The poem has themes of growing up and the tooth fairy which I illustrated through beading, cotton and pva sculpting, ceramic charms and embroidery. Tooth imagery was kept throughout the garment with the headpiece mimicking the shape of a tooth.

Leeds, United KingdomI’m Lauren, an illustrator and 3D artist based in Leicestershire and Leeds. I’m a graduate from Leeds Arts University and I create whimsical mixed media work. I make mythical puppets, costumes and masks and illustrations using analogue materials. I’m a storyteller and love creating narrative pieces of work.
