Living Nature: Mural for Library Viva. by Melissa Aristizabal in Toronto

Living Nature: Mural for Library Viva.

This project was created for Biblioteca Viva, a public library located in Los Ángeles, in the Bío-Bío region of southern Chile. The central intention of this mural was to represent the native flora and fauna of the region while encouraging the local community to engage more actively with the library as a cultural and educational space. A total of 26 square meters of painted nature now transforms the entrance to the library, inviting visitors into a vibrant, organic world. The project was realized in collaboration with Chilean artist Cristian Rojas (@macroco) and Colombian artist and designer Melissa Aristizábal.
