Gut Feelings are our Guardians Angels
I created this piece using Procreate on my iPad. The idea was to play with the words “gut feelings” and “guardian angel” by illustrating my own version of it and handlettering “gut feelings” in a squiggly and shaky way to represent how a gut feeling often feels like.
Meet the Artist
Melbourne, AustraliaHi there! My name’s Kajal (she/her) and I’m a South-Asian Artist and Illustrator currently based in Naarm (Melbourne). I love creating art that’s colorful, bold and playful, inspired by my own experiences, feelings, and conversations that spark my creativity. I hope to create work that creates a sense of relatability as well as the urge to learn and unlearn. My art is reflective of the way I choose to express how I visualize the world around myself and my feelings! What I love about creating art is that it’s limitless. There are no rules to art and that you can create whatever you want, however you want and that is truly what the world needs. I’ve been painting ever since I could hold a pencil and paintbrush in my hand. Few years ago I discovered the art of lettering and I’m so glad I did because I’m enjoying the journey of learning something new everyday. Moving forwards, I’d love to bring my art to life and create murals for businesses. The joy of being able to bring a vision to life is incomparable and I’d love to be of help for that!
