Edmonton mural festival
Mural for Edmonton Mural Festival 2025 in the cities French district. This mural is inspired by the cozy charm of a French patisserie with a fun, jazzy vibe. The warm reds, blues, and retro patterns create the feeling of a lively caté, where good food, and good times set the mood. The phrase "Prenez le temps," meaning "take the time," is a reminder to slow down and enjoy life's little pleasures. With playful illustrations of pastries, wine, and a relaxed character, the mural celebrates slowing down, connecting with others, and savouring the moment.
Size: 12ft x 70ft
Meet the Artist
Vancouver, CanadaAfter completing my graphic design diploma in 2015, I began to develop my illustration skills
and style. I quickly acquired a love for painting, which in turn, eventually allowed her to go large scale and design public murals and art for commercial projects. I am a visual artist who works across a multitude of mediums such as, murals, paintings and digital illustrations. I take inspiration from youth iconography, mythic narrative, pop art, and the styles and objects of a range of subcultures—including tattooing, still life, and romanticism. I incorporate graphic illustrative components, specific colour palettes and intricate line work to convey a feeling of cultural nostalgia and relevance. The versatility of my style shines through in its ability to transition between highly detailed compositions and more minimalistic designs, adapting to the demands of each unique project. Notably, my designs are crafted to resonate with a broad audience, striking a balance that makes it suitable for all age groups.
