I have always called Brisbane home and have been painting since childhood. My background is in academic Art History and Philosophy, and I have 10 years experience in painting. My passion lies in translating the unknown, a potentially futile attempt that will last a lifetime. I have 14 painting commissions under my belt ranging from portraits to landscapes and still life. I'm a self taught artist and have been actively studying (and working) for the past 7 years. On the side I have worked in customer service and marketing. My area of comfort is abstract portraiture and figure work, but I love new creative challenges! My range of interest in style, technique and medium is broad.
