This mural was commissioned by a friend opening an art space in Crystal City, Virginia in 2018. The venue featured a predominantly white interior, with the exception of this focal wall. I was granted full creative control and developed the design on-site, without the use of a preliminary rendering. The result reflects my intuitive approach and the dynamic nature of the space. My extensive commission history includes over fifty artworks and centers around the use of dynamic colors and patterns, designed to uplift and energize the environments they inhabit. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and surrounded by beauty, and this principle drives my approach to both my craft and my collaborations.
