This label illustration was created for Correspondence Wine Co. as part of a collaborative process translating the character of the wine into a visual form. The final design combines hand-drawn elements, collage, and layered color fields to create an image that feels both precise and atmospheric—something that unfolds gradually, much like the wine itself.
The composition brings together references to landscape, movement, and time: vineyard elements, mechanical fragments, and natural forms orbit within a circular structure that suggests both containment and flow. The imagery is not literal, but associative—designed to evoke place and process rather than illustrate them directly.
Developed through multiple iterations, the project moved from initial sketches and compositional studies into a final image adapted for print and bottle format. Particular attention was given to how the artwork would function at different scales—from close viewing in the hand to repeated presence across multiple bottles.
This project reflects an ongoing area of my practice: working with wineries, brands, and producers to create label artwork that stands apart from conventional packaging. Each design is developed in response to the specific identity of the product, with the possibility of extending into series, limited editions, or related visual materials.

Montreal, CanadaI’m a Montreal and New York-based visual artist working across painting, collage, and sculptural wall pieces. My practice moves between abstraction and figuration, often layering found imagery, drawn elements, and painted structure into surfaces that feel both constructed and alive.
I’ve been working professionally for over twenty years, with projects ranging from private commissions to public art installations. My approach is collaborative—I work closely with clients to develop pieces that respond to a space, a story, or a particular energy they want to live with.
Alongside larger works, I offer smaller commissions, including portrait drawings and custom paintings, as a way of keeping the work immediate and accessible. Whether the project is intimate or architectural, the goal is the same: to make something that holds attention over time.
I’m particularly interested in work that sits between image and object—where painting starts to take on a physical presence, and where materials carry their own history into the final piece.
