Contemporary Hieroglyphs - Tech Upgrade
This work was commissioned by a company based in San Francisco. Over two days of live painting, Matlakas created a 5.58 × 2.62 m mural inspired by the evolving world of tech‑driven hiring and the future of digital networking.
For this piece, the artist drew directly from the colour palettes of major hiring‑platform logos, transforming them into a dynamic visual language. He developed a flowing system of icon‑based writing, expanding his signature hieroglyphic style to reflect themes of connection, opportunity, and the fast‑moving rhythm of contemporary work culture.

I have many years of experience in the creation of mural, paintings and mosaic work. All my work is very distinctive and personal and everytime I work on a wall it becomes art, evaluating the context it is in. It's very important for me in fact that my work chromatically and conceptually fits the neighbourhood.
As a multi-disciplinary artist i am able to shift from mural to mosaic according to the need of the client.
