This work has been commissioned by the Archdiocese of Gwanju, in South Korea. Matlakas created an Installation made with bricks, ceramic tiles, and grout. I have many years of experience in the creation of mural, paintings and mosaic work. All my work is very distinctive and personal and everytime I work on a wall it becomes art, evaluating the context it is in. It's very important for me in fact that my work chromatically and conceptually fits the neighbourhood.
As a multi-disciplinary artist i am able to shift from mural to mosaic according to the need of the client.
