Technohuman by Matlakas in London

Technohuman

During Matlakas' solo exhibition the artist was asked to create 10 works (paintings and mosaics) in 45 days. Here is Painting #1, Wanju, South Korea. Technohuman 120x100cm Technohuman compares humanity and technology. human beings getting closer and closer to a cyborg-like life and technology aiming to be more humanized. Here there is the encounter of the two, both faulty, both yet to unfold their full potential, both on their path to perfection but yet…both still so faulty. This is a reflection of the human mind and behavior as not fully developed being, still on its path to opening up to his/her full potential.
