BLACK X BOLD: DARE TO BECOME by ERIN JAE in London

I am a London based multidisciplinary artist whose body of creative work centres around the theme of empowerment. I use visual art, music, poetry and prose to ignite conversation around equality, justice and representation of marginalised voices, images and narratives, which are seldom seen, heard or reflected in the mainstream. My work has been featured by a number of publications and brands including, Adobe Creative Cloud and Dark Yellow Dot. My series 'Stand In Solidarity. Stand With Pride' was selected from 1000s of applicants to be featured in a 3 week Black History Month billboard campaign run by Clear Channel UK and POCC across the United Kingdom to celebrate the work of emerging visual artists. Some of my artwork from my latest series BLACK X BOLD was also recently exhibited at Ham Yard, Soho and Genesis Cinema, Mile End as part of the Dark Yellow Dot International Women’s Month exhibition.
