This mural was created in Río Verde, Ecuador, a lush village embraced by the cloud forest and known for its famous waterfalls. The work is inspired by the abundance of bamboo that thrives in the property, bringing the essence of the forest directly into the room. Painted in warm golden and green tones, the mural was conceived to dissolve the boundary between inside and outside, allowing guests to feel as though the forest itself extends into their resting space. A subtle yet significant detail is the presence of a colibrí, perched and gazing toward the window. This choice honors the many hummingbirds that visit the gardens of the B&B daily, weaving the mural into the living rhythm of its surroundings. The piece was executed with acrylic paints suitable for interior wall surfaces, chosen both for durability and depth of color.
