About
Kayla is queer, Montreal based illustrator and muralist who creates surrealist folk art using expressive dry brush textures and vivid colour schemes. Her work uses animals and scenic landscapes to tell stories of femmehhood, and self love. Kayla has worked with a range of high impact clients such as Cirque Du Soleil, Nespresso and North American Communities. While she is best know for her murals, Her professional skills Include advertising, package design, wall papers, book covers and editorial illustration.
