Hi! My name is André Rios. I was born in Portugal and I currently live and work in the Netherlands. Art has always been my passion and I studied in various art and design courses. I am a professional in realistic painting and my main medium is pastels. I'm constantly pushing the quality of my realist pastel technique and creating different realistic pastel artworks from portraits to wildlife and still-life. At the moment you can find my work in various galleries in the Netherlands, from The Hague to Gouda, I am constantly exhibiting my work in various European countries and I am proud that my portraits and realistic paintings are finding clients worldwide. My love for pastels also led me to teach pastel workshops and classes. In my lessons, I'm committed to helping upcoming artists discover their passion for the pastel medium and provide them with the tools to express their vision. I give workshops personally in the Netherlands and online for clients from different countries.
