Magz is an artist based in Los Angeles and San Diego. She enjoys painting with modern contemporary style that is inspired by pop culture and societal issues.
Magz is heavily influenced by her experience of growing up in a Taiwanese American immigrant household and facing adversity of being a firstborn female in the family. Her art is not just about social and personal awareness, but it is also about finding peace and solitude amongst the hardship. She story-tells through color and visuals that transform her trauma and experiences into beautiful art pieces.
