Nguluwa Dhiyaan Aboriginal Arts Was started in 2011 Damon Miri Anderson owner and director nguluwa dhiyaan means strong family. Nguluwa Dhiyaan is a successful business and dance group that has performed all over the darling downs and very well know in the Toowoomba region and south east queensland. And has performed for Prince William and Australian country music stars at the spirit of the country visit in Toowoomba Damon has also performed for world leaders like Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, and other world leaders for the g20 summit that was held in Brisbane. They have also performed for numerous naidoc events and done workshops with art, dance, language and story at many schools and functions in Brisbane and Morten bay region. Some schools we have performed and entertained is Glenvale state school Haralxton state school St Mary’s collage Hercules road state school Brisbane state high school Harristown state high and primary schools Oakey state high and primary schools Cnk early childcare centres Just to name a few and also for numerous organisations and company’s Bunya peoples Aboriginal Corporation SWIN south west indigenous network Desnigner life Help enterprises Toowoomba region council Moreton bay region council Western downs regional council Surat aboriginal corporation Queensland health Queensland government Wagners Damon Miri anderson is also a well-known artist with murals and artwork in numerous places around the Australia and the world.also completed a 24 panel mural for new quarantine facility at wellcamp airport. Miri has also been awarded regional aboriginal Torres Strait islander of the year award for Toowoomba region. I have also help numerous aboriginal people, schools and other connect to culture through language revitalising the wakka wakka language every where he goes.
