I had the smoothest process working with Laura-Anne on getting a time-sensitive piece done. We were doing a new office opening and Laura-Anne completely understood the brief given (to match artwork we have in other locations similarly) with about 3 weeks notice. She communicated brilliantly along the way, and turned the artwork around in less than a week! With added tweaks along the way, she adapted well and delivered beautiful pieces that will live in our office :) I would highly recommend Laura-Anne!

Laura-Anne did such an amazing job on our office building! We are so happy with the results. She went above and beyond the scope of the project and was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process. Now we have two beautiful murals on each side of the building that I am proud to see when I drive to work everyday. I would highly recommend Laura-Anne for any project!

It was a great experience is Laura-Anne. From the beginning, communication was easy. A few sketches went back and forth to make sure we were on the same page. Suggestions were take and worked in, while still keeping her own unique style. Definitely recommend!

Final result was fantastic! Laura-Anne went out of her way. Just make sure the lines of communication stay open. We had a bit of a breakdown along the journey. But again; the work was Great! Other people’s feed back was all was positive !! :)

We have worked with Laura-Anne on a couple of projects and we are thrilled by the production, timeliness, communication and the ability to capture what we depict in words on a drawing. We are looking forward to continuing our work with Laura-Anne and recommend her to all parties.

Laura-Anne was a pleasure to work with! She delivered an amazing, unique piece of art that was well beyond my expectations. Despite how unusual my request was, Laura-Anne completed the job well within our agreed timeline and communicated with me throughout the process. I will be returning to work with her again in the future.

About
Laura-Anne was always drawing and painting growing up. Her first art “gig” was painting windows at Christmas when she was 16. Dad bought her an airbrush at 17 and that was what really got her started as an airbrush artist. She attended VIU for 2 years and received an Associate’s degree in Applied Arts (Graphics option). After her first year at college she received a prestigious 1st place award, by unanimous decision, in a British Columbian, provincial-wide, inter-collegiate poster contest. Up against post-graduate schools and world educational leaders like Emily Carr College of Art & Design, “Enviro Visions” for Enviro Expo ‘92, Laura-Anne's "The Gift" took first place. One thousand limited edition prints were printed and each were given to one of the 1000 corporate delegates and CEO’s from major global companies such as Fuji, Canon and Hewlett-Packard. Laura-Anne was awarded the Faculty Award for Graphics upon graduation from VIU. Her first job out of college was designing display ads for "Yellow Pages", where she worked for three years.*yawn After that she moved on and worked at many different jobs within the graphics industry; including as a Production Artist at Sicon Signs (formerly The Sicon Group), and as an Airbrush Artist at Hawg Wild Airbrush. Her main focus as of late, is mural painting and digital illustration. She has done work for companies such as Triumph, The Naam, Save-On-Foods, Tim Horton's, Tsubaki of Canada, The Edmonton Oilers and Vodafone. She loves to ride her 2022 Harley Davidson Street Bob, and wants to do more travelling. Some of her favourite illustrators are Norman Rockwell, Graeme Base and Norman Mingo (Mad Magazine).

I do not mind replicating an existing design

Pick me for these projects! :-

I love jobs that involve quirky characters, old cars, haunted houses and creepy clowns, funny situations, dystopian worlds, mythical creatures, beautiful scenery and so much more... I love to paint with brushes, rollers, and airbrush but I also create digital illustrations and have enjoyed doing so for many years.
