About
My name is Karuã, and I'm a graphic designer, illustrator, and tattoo artist. I was born into a family of artists on a farm in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Growing up on a place called "Tudo é Arte" (Everything is Art) since my childhood, I have always been enchanted by this lifestyle—being able to live and transmit the power of art. Influenced by nature, the beach, and the simple things in life, I grew up in a community of creative and happy people. I started developing my artistic skills through Batik, an ancient Indonesian art form that my mother taught me and my siblings. After that, I ventured into the world of surfboard paintings, collaborating on various projects with different brands. This led me to take on bigger projects such as murals, panels, paintings, stained glass, and even wooden objects.
