About
Hey there, I'm Ashley! I'm a Canadian digital illustrator. I've been working as a freelance illustration since 2017. My work can often be seen on book covers, as illustrated characters and scenes or hand-lettered titles. Other than books, my illustrations have appeared on art installations, magazines, and social media. I also have a background in print design, which is handy for setting up production-ready files. I am a visual storyteller at heart. My work is inspired by the moments and emotions we feel as humans in our day-to-day lives. I am an intuitive creative, I always go with my gut. I often do personal exploratory work to learn new styles of illustration and play. Beyond books, I live by the beach, which also inspires my work.
