I can’t recommend Darin enough! his interpretation of the piece I wanted exceeded my expectations. He has an amazing and unique style that really captured the essence of what you want without being overly realistic. He is also super prompt in completing the work! About
Wood's style has evolved from a goal of capturing the essence of his subject with painterly strokes and without being literal. This has led to numerous amalgams of finishes that combine bravura brushstrokes and knife-strokes with dynamic movement through the picture plane. His current push is to maximize the notan structure of his pieces and create strong composition that play between photorealistic, impressionistic, and abstract. His subjects seem to materialize out of the ether or melt into the canvas creating space on the 2-D surface.
