About
Alyssa Bermudez (she/her) is a born and bred Nuyorican living down under in Tasmania, Australia! She studied illustration and animation at the Fashion Institute of Technology for Bachelors and Masters courses. Since 2015, Alyssa has also been the art director and creative designer at Keshet Design, where her love and interest in fashion and art shine through her work. As an author, illustrator, and art teacher, her illustrations have graced the pages of over a dozen picture books, fabrics, and even the stage. In 2021, she debuted her middle-grade graphic novel, Big Apple Diaries, to readers worldwide. With a deep commitment to representing children from diverse backgrounds, Alyssa's work celebrates inclusivity and showcases her unique artistic style. She is obsessed with dogs, books, live sketching, mountain biking, travelling and keeping plants alive. “Bermudez’s colorful, buoyant illustrations radiate pure joy.” - Kirkus Reviews

I would be thrilled to be a part of your special day, capturing those precious moments during your wedding ceremony through watercolour. From the joyous vows to the heartfelt embraces, I will translate the essence of these beautiful moments into hand-drawn illustrations. During the cocktail hour, I can continue to create smaller portraits, adding a personalized touch to your celebration. Each portrait will capture the unique essence of your guests, reflecting their personalities in every stroke. At the end of this unforgettable night, I will present you with a collection of all the illustrations—a treasured gift that encapsulates the emotions and memories of your wedding day. These will serve as a lasting reminder of the joy shared on this momentous occasion. I am more than happy to adjust the day's plan to your vision. The cost is hourly plus travel, so I can quote accordingly.
