I attended American Academy of Art in Chicago, IL for four years and earned a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts majoring in oil painting. I like to mix it up in terms of mediums, I’d like to consider myself of a Jack of all trades (maybe not all but certainly many!) Although I majored in oil painting, sculpture and quite honestly jewelry making has been my favorite to work with. Still life is generally what I gravitate towards in terms of painting. When it comes to drawing and sketching I take a architectural approach. I use procreate to make tattoo ideas come to life. When it comes to jewelry, I like to use O-rings primarily, and I enjoy making intricate chains that are either big, thick and bulky, or simple, dainty, usually accompanied with pearls. Or I combine both together, because why not? During my free time, I enjoy working with my hands. I don’t usually stick to one medium for more than a couple weeks/months, so the idea of having a project with the option of using a different medium each time is exciting and right up my alley!
