Based in Brisbane in Australia, Matte is a versatile canvas and mural artist specializing in acrylic paints using brushes and aerosols. Through creatively exploring diverse methods and techniques, Matte’s style continues to evolve. Achievable styles and subject matters include everything from photo-realism portraits to abstract streetscapes, while being flexible with painting styles widens the creative freedom applied to the appropriate piece of art. Having a wide knowledge base and experience from multiple creative industries – Matte is able to adapt this knowledge to his approach and process, which ultimately reinforces his execution and overall vision on any piece. Matte thrives on the ability to bring vibrant life to ordinary or plain spaces through his painting and takes pride in being able to inspire, motivate, spread positivity and evoke thought or emotion through his artwork – which is extremely rewarding and ultimately Matte’s goal on every project. Matte is a resident artist at Mayne Line studio/gallery in Albion, Brisbane.
