I am an artist, driven by my passion for color, texture, and the imaginative world of illustration. My work is characterized by its vibrant coloring, eclectic prints, and distinctive color palette. I am inspired by the bold, confident use of color seen in the work of Matisse, and I strive to bring this same sense of joy and playfulness to my own art. For me, creating art is a way to connect with the world around me, to bring my own unique perspective to life, and to inspire others to do the same. I am inspired by the beauty of nature, the energy of the city, and the stories and experiences of those I meet. One of the things I love about being an artist is the ability to experiment with new techniques and materials. I am particularly drawn to textile art, and I love to incorporate textile techniques into my illustrations. For example, I enjoy using a punch needle technique to create portraits that have a soft, almost cushion-like texture. This adds an extra layer of interest and depth to my pieces, and it allows me to explore new ways of expressing my creativity. In short, I am a color-loving, texture-inspired artist with a passion for all things whimsical and imaginative. I believe that art has the power to inspire and uplift, and I am driven by my desire to share this power with others.
