My name is Josiah Hyder and I'm a fine artist. I love to paint bold, bright, colorful and enigmatic visual stories. I often paint Sci Fi, Fantasy, cartoon or horror pieces. Most of the time I strictly work with acrylic. I also have done plenty of pencil, color pencil and black and white or color sharpie drawings. I love everything about art. I enjoy diving into my psyche in the quiet spaces of my imagination and extracting stories, characters and visuals from that unknown realm of consciousness and imagination. I began drawing at a young age and as soon as I graduated high school I graduated to acrylic paint. It has been my favorite medium ever since. I have done one commission art piece. I have been extremely interested in painting murals for a long time. I'm hoping I can find the opportunity to do so soon. I would love the experience and the joy of painting one.
