Jai is a Self Taught Artist originating From the streets of South Sydney. From a young age he was always drawn to art and the way it could make a community feel, and as he was coming of age around his peers and around his city, this passion growing became not only his thepapy and oulet for his life situations, but also his identity. Through His past 10yrs of Exploring This Urban subculture ZENIK has always Tried to push the limits of Creativity in an attempt to brighten up a world that is slowly been swallowed up by a grey and dull industralized society. To Do so these days he uses a wide range of mediums such as spraypaint, acrylic, drawing, brush painting, as well as digital and illustration works. With Spray Paint still being his Go-to Medium, ZENIK's Style best explores the deminsions of 3D, the merging of Cartoons and Stylized Realism with a Graffiti and Urban fine-arts Feel, along with abstract imagery. Wether its native Fauna and flora or an iconic cartoon character you have always loved ZENIK Focuses on shadows and lighting effects, along with colour theorey to bring these creations to Life before your very eyes. Today ZENIK currently resides in Tasmania where he continues to share his art with the world and to help the next generations find their own passions, and learn to use them creatively and productively to brighten up their own communities.
