Dawid is a joy to work with. He grasped what was in my imagination and readily understood my goals for this portrait. The evolution of the project unfolded gently and Dawid patiently worked through the sketches, the early painting phases, and then diligently worked towards the final product before winding things up with some minor amendments. At every step of the way, Dawid was accommodating and supportive in making sure the design, tone, and every aspect of the portrait's appearance was in line with the photographic images provided; as well as meeting my own standards in terms of overall quality, aesthetics, and personal preferences. I would highly encourage those researching artists to consider Dawid. He can logically grasp a complex idea and transform it into a beautiful piece of art - which is the whole point of “bookanartist”. Dawid made my dream portrait a reality. He will do the same for you! Dawid did an unbelievable job, I would recommend him to anyone. I wanted to create a painting of where my parents first met and he created exactly what I wanted and better. I know they are going to absolutely love it. He was extremely good and responding quickly and very considerate of providing the exact details I wanted (even down to a wine glass).

Thank you so much Dawid, it was a great pleasure collaborating with you on an art that I would not have been able to generate alone. One day, I woke up with an idea to document something about my life, then I decided to do it via an artwork. I searched online who may be able to help me do customized artwork, then came across Book an Artist website. It was very easy to use and easy to find an artist willing to help you. Dawid was very patient with me from the generation of ideas until the completion of the charcoal painting. I have attached the finished masterpiece; took the pic myself so it is not the best capture as I'm not a good photographer, but as you can see he was able to create something from my visualization. I don't regret a single penny I paid because this is one that cannot simply be bought anywhere or anytime. Once again, thank you Dawid and Book an Artist for the beautiful masterpiece that will have a rightful place in my home and in my heart.

About
Working as an application programmer, Dawid's real passion has always been the arts. Best known in the Polish community for his long standing involvement with Polish Folkloric Ensemble Tatry, Dawid’s lesser known interests lie in his other hobby, which he began practicing (and exhibiting) at just nine years of age. He has sold paintings at locations and competitions such as The Royal Adelaide Show, Victor Harbor Art Show, Hahndorf Streetscape, Dozynki Harvest Festival, and is on his way to becoming a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in Adelaide after receiving two awards of merit. Dawid’s art can be found in households and galleries all over Adelaide, and he is proud to draw his Polish heritage into his passion wherever he can.
