About
Nicole is an Adelaide-based artist working across commercial and personal creative projects. Painting both the micro and macro of the surrounding environment, Nicole works across mixed mediums to capture her emotional attachment to these spaces and details. Her work draws upon the memory of these places, with journalling and photography playing an integral part of the documentation and understanding of colour, form and light. She has long held a fascination with the ‘ebb and flow’ laws that exist within the life cycles of the natural world. In her paintings, drawings and murals she explores the juxtaposition of detail versus abstraction as well as the magic that is not always apparent to the naked eye.

I am particularly drawn to murals that incorporate botanical elements with a design focus. Whilst I can work with aerosol paint, my real strength is painting murals with brushes.
