About
Hey! I'm Josh. I'm a freelance illustrator, animator and designer specialising in digital marketing campaigns, children's books, book covers and more. My influences are as wide-ranging as 90's anime to Belgian comics and modern children's books. I graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Academy Of Art University in San Francisco and have been freelancing ever since. I'm proud to have recently worked with Oxford University Press to illustrate, design, co-write and co-create an award-winning study series for Australian high school students called Oxford Study Buddy. I've also illustrated for global design agencies such as Publicis Sapient, illustrated and animated advertisements for agencies, published a spiritual children's book called Stepping Stones and had my work displayed in several exhibitions. I love what I do and put a tremendous amount of care into every project I'm fortunate to work on. My work can be stylized, realistic or painterly, depending on the project although I'm mostly known for a style that others describe as 'quirky, energetic and surreal.'
